Dear Diary,
Okay, let’s talk about something wild. There are SO many amazing things happening around me that I can’t even see! Like, imagine walking through life thinking you’re just doing your thing, when in reality, the universe is out here sprinkling secret bits of magic everywhere. I mean, seriously—how often do we get so caught up in what’s right in front of us that we totally miss the unseen awesomeness?
Life is full of things we can’t see but still exist in the most meaningful ways. It’s funny how we focus so much on what’s right in front of us, yet some of the most beautiful moments and feelings happen quietly, unnoticed. I’ve been thinking about those invisible little things, the ones that remind us we’re more loved, stronger, and more connected than we realize
So, let’s dive into the hidden, the mysterious, the things that exist even when we’re not paying attention (which, let’s be real, is most of the time).
1. All the compliments that people have thought of you but never shared.
Oh, the mystery of unspoken admiration! How many times has someone thought, Wow, they look nice today or I really admire how they handle things but never said it out loud? It makes me wonder how often I’ve done the same—held back kind words for no real reason. Maybe I should start saying them more. Imagine how much warmth would spread if we all voiced the good things we think about others.
2. Your tiny cells fighting together
to keep you alive.
Shoutout to my immune system for constantly working overtime with zero recognition! It’s funny how we rarely appreciate the billions of microscopic warriors inside us, fighting battles we don’t even know about. Like, these little guys are battling germs, repairing damage, and keeping me functioning, and do I ever say thank you? No. Do I reward them with hydration and proper sleep? Also no. (Oops.) Time to treat my body like the VIP it is—starting with drinking water that isn’t just coffee.
3. How proud little you would be of the person you’ve become.
This one hit differently. If the younger version of me could peek into my life now, what would she say? Would she think I’m cool? Would she be proud of how I’ve handled things? I think she would. Not because everything is perfect, but because I’ve made it through so much. Maybe not in a loud, jumping-up-and-down way, but in a quiet, knowing way—like, Yeah, we’ve been through a lot, but we made it here.
4. You showing up in others’ dreams.
Okay, the fact that I might be making cameo appearances in someone else’s subconscious is hilarious. What am I doing in these dreams? Giving cryptic life advice? Running from zombies? Randomly sitting at a table eating pancakes? The possibilities are endless. Somewhere out there, I’m a dreamland celebrity, and that’s enough to boost my ego for the day. Either way, it’s nice to think that somewhere, I might be a small, unexpected part of someone’s subconscious world.
5. Your endless potential and power to create whatever your heart desires.
This is one of those things we know technically, but often forget. We get so caught up in routines, in self-doubt, in overthinking, that we forget we actually have the power to change things. You know those moments when you suddenly remember that you can literally do anything? Like, I could learn a new skill, move to a new place, start something big. Maybe I can create the life I dream of. I just have to decide to do it. That’s both exciting and slightly terrifying. But mostly exciting. Life is basically an open-world game, and I’m realizing I need to start taking advantage of that.Maybe I do have more potential than I realize. This one’s a reminder to stop underestimating myself.
6. People thinking of you and smiling.
I love this one. It’s easy to believe we’re forgettable, that we don’t really cross people’s minds when we’re not around. But what if that’s not true? What if someone heard a song and thought of me? Maybe they remembered something funny I said, or a nice moment we shared, or even just the way I always trip over absolutely nothing. Either way, I’m out here living rent-free in someone’s happy thoughts, and that is a fantastic feeling. It’s a comforting thought—like leaving little invisible traces of joy behind.
7. How much you’ve already healed.
Healing is weird. It’s not linear, it’s not obvious, and half the time, it doesn’t even feel like it’s happening. But then one day, you realize something that used to hurt… doesn’t as much anymore. And that? That’s incredible. I don’t give myself enough credit for the progress I’ve made, but I’ve been through things that once felt impossible, and I’m still here, still moving forward. That’s worth celebrating.
Final Thoughts, Diary?
Turns out, life is FULL of hidden magic. Just because I can’t see something doesn’t mean it’s not real—whether it’s love, admiration, healing, or my future success story waiting to unfold. Maybe the key to happiness isn’t just looking at what’s in front of me but trusting that there’s so much more happening beneath the surface.
Now, excuse me while I go drink some water for my hardworking cells and bask in the thought of my dreamland cameo career.
Love,
Anna 💋
