We were told that securing a reservation at Canna, the renowned French fine dining restaurant inside the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, could take up to six monthsβwhether for a seat or even just a specific menu. But when the head chef happens to be your nephew, and he adores his Tita Ana, things take a different turn. Not only were we given priority seating in a private dining room, but we were also personally welcomed at the entrance by the head chef himself. To top it off, chef Yuki my nephew, dropped by our room to introduce his specially curated set menu, free wine, of course, for a quick photo op.

Honestly, it was overwhelmingβnot just from pride but also from the sheer brilliance of every dish that was served to us. Each plate felt like a carefully crafted masterpiece, not just in flavor but in presentation as well. From the appetizers, which were delicate yet bursting with flavor, to the main courses, where every bite showcased the depth of Yukiβs culinary expertise, it was an experience that engaged all the senses. The desserts were nothing short of perfectionβbeautifully plated, indulgent yet balanced, leaving us savoring every spoonful.
Even the latte, something so simple yet so thoughtfully prepared, had a rich aroma and a smooth, velvety taste that lingered just right. And letβs not forget the highlight of the celebrationβGwenβs birthday cake. It wasnβt just a dessert; it was an experience in itself. The texture, the flavor, the way it melted in the mouthβit was pure decadence. Every bite was a reminder of just how special this day was.
We were so blown away that we couldnβt help but ask Yuki to sign our menu card. Haha! It truly felt like we were dining with a celebrity chef.
